What do Klein Stars do in Project E? ›

Klein Star Ein holds up to 50,000 EMC and is also used in the crafting of Klein Star Zwei. Klein Stars can be charged by being placed in a Transmutation Table and being feed in items, or by being placed in the charging slot of an Energy Collector or Anti-Matter Relay.

Charging. The conventional way to charge a Klein Star is to put it into a Antimatter Relay being supplied with EMC. A faster way to charge the Klein Star Omega is to put it in the left grid of a Transmutation Tablet (The portable one works too). The Tablet will dump its EMC into the Star immediately.

Klein Star(The Small Star) is an item that is part of the Equivalent Exchange mod. It stores EMC for use in Transmutation Tablet, Antimatter Relays, Energy Collectors, Dark Matter Furnaces, Red Matter Furnaces and for Power Items. Basically they act as an IC2 RE Battery for storing EMC.

The Transmutation Tablet is one of, if not the most, important device from the Equivalent Exchange mod, as it allows you to make any object in vanilla Minecraft (As well as some items from Industrialcraft and Redpower) out of other items, much like a Condenser.

EMC or Energy Matter Covalence is a mechanic from the Equivalent Exchange series. This is the energy that is used in everything within the Equivalent Exchange mods. Almost everything in Minecraft has an EMC value, allowing them to be transmuted into each other.
